And we really do feel rejuvenated and raring to go. Joth and I had another of our really good chats on the way home from Hemel and it’s set the tone for a great start to the term. Home feels a wonderful place to come back to after the work we did on the drive and sorting out in the house. Other people might not be able to tell the difference but I feel I could locate any item in the house at the drop of a hat. Not that I want anyone to drop hats. Too messy.
I am very fond of our house here. It’s no palace by any stretch of the imagination and we have to be quite creative with the space upstairs but that’s no hardship and it works very well for us. The harder up we get the luckier we feel about everything.
Joth did lots of the unpacking while I was working yesterday so today we had a pyjama morning and Anton and Lucas took their sleeping bags downstairs to make a teddy bears/dragon picnic for brunch. Lucas was telling a long story about dragons and it was such fun to listen to. Oscar joined in too.
